GeoShack are seeking to hire a bright and highly motivated Building Information Management (BIM) Specialist to be based in the following areas:

  • Denver area, but will cover the West territory
  • Greater Toronto area, but will cover all of Canada
  • Houston, TX


The chosen candidate will have an opportunity to work for the #1 Topcon distributor in the U.S. selling the latest hardware and software solutions to contractors.


The primary role of the BIM Specialist is to market an integrated BIM solution of hardware and software to potential AEC and MEP customers.  In this key sales role, the successful candidate will be highly motivated, responsible for managing the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, proposals, demonstrations, quotations and closing the sale.   


  • Responsible for effective prospecting / identifying potential opportunities and closing high value deals.
  • Build long term relationships within a territory to maximize customer and company profitability.
  • Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations.
  • Be customer oriented; have a knowledge and understanding of the business and culture of the customers.





  • A strong knowledge of selling technology solutions in the vertical construction industry. 
  • Experience selling hardware such as GPS, Robotic Total Stations and scanners, is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in new account creation and maintaining accounts.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a Construction related discipline such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar, is a plus
  • A valid driver license and insurable driving record will be required.
