GeoShack is ready to hire a talented individual who enjoys a challenging, fast-paced environment in the surveying and construction industry as a Survey/General Construction Sales Specialist. This position requires a working knowledge of the local survey market, as well as the local construction market. The ideal candidate would have the ability to develop relationships with customers and provide them with real, effective solutions.   This position will be based out on London, Ontario.


You will be responsible for prospecting and identifying potential opportunities and closing high value deals with surveying and engineering firms, and governmental entities, as well as small, medium and large sized contractors.  You will be selling Topcon GPS, surveying instruments and robotic total stations, construction lasers, 2D machine control equipment and supplies among many other products.  

  • Sell equipment, accessories, rentals and service as a total customer solution.
  • Build long term relationships within a territory to maximize customer and company profitability.
  • Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations.
  • Provide timely follow up on each sale to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.


  • Prefer 1-3 years sales experience, preferably in the survey or construction industry
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
